1. Washington Brewers Festival, June 19-21
The Washington Brewers Festival takes place in King Country’s Marymoor Park in Redmond Washington and will feature 105 Washington breweries pouring over 400 different beers. Washington is famous for its craft brewers, making this festival an essential on any beer connoisseur’s hit list. The festival also offers live music, a brewer’s keg tossing competition and plenty of local food to complement your beer(s). Ticket price: $20-30.
2. Burning Can, May 30
With craft beer, outdoor sports, live music and rocky mountain camping, could there possibly be a better way to spend the weekend? At the Burning Can extravaganza in Lyons, Colorado, 50 craft brewers and more than 200 beers will be on showcase. Since 2009, Burning Can has been paying tribute to Oskar Blues with can-centric craft breweries. It has since expanded to the East Coast, where in Brevard, North Carolina, you can continue the festivities on July 17-18. Ticket price: $45-60.
3. Oregon Brewers Festival, July 22-26
Celebrating its 28th year in July, the Oregon Brewers Festival is one of the longest-running craft beer festivals in the U.S.A. This year the festival, which takes place in the Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland, will host 90 breweries from 15 different states. Besides beer sampling, the festival features live music, beer-related vendors, beer memorabilia displays, home brewing demonstrations and foods from a variety of regions. Ticket price: Free.
4. Stone 19th Anniversary Celebration & Invitational Beer Festival, August 14-15
Southern California’s largest craft beer festival the Stone 19th Anniversary Celebration & Invitational Beer Festival is also a charity event that has raised up to $1.8 million. Over 60 craft breweries, hand-picked from around the country, will be at the festival. Ticket price: $45-85.
5. Snallygaster, September 12
Bid farewell to the summer with none other than beer. This year, Snallygaster is returning to The Yards in Washington, D.C. While the details haven’t been shared just yet, last year’s festivities included seasonal brews, exotic imports and other rare beers. Some 250 unique beers were featured. Ticket price: $10-30.
